She holds a BS in Communication from the University of Tennessee (2009), an MBA from Bethel University (2013), and an AS in Nursing from Jackson State Community College (2014). Lynsey’s interest in yoga began in high school, and over the years she has continued to seek opportunities to further her yoga development and practice. She has a 200-hour yoga certification through YogaFit, as well as certification in yoga therapy by The Yoga Teachers School of Excellence in Jackson, and is comprehensively trained in classical pilates through Peak Pilates.
Sally Smigielski is a licensed occupational therapist, certified yoga therapist, and registered yoga teacher. She received a BS in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University (1982), an MBA from Orlando College (1992), completed her training at Yoga Teachers School of Excellence in Jackson, and is registered with Yoga Alliance. After observing the healing benefits of yoga with her occupational therapy patients, Sally began to incorporate yoga breathing and poses into her practice. Upon retirement from occupational therapy in 2015, Sally’s in-depth study and training of yoga led her to teaching yoga. As a yoga instructor, she continues to bring therapeutic healing to her students. Sally and her husband have resided in Jackson for thirteen years, have two sons, and enjoy traveling.
“Coming to the spa at 23 Sandstone was an easy decision. I have been having private sessions with Sally for several months due to chronic health problems and inherited foot issues. My overall body strength and endurance has greatly improved.”
